Attention all UNL Students! The Big Red Investment Club is hosting its first in-person Stock Pitch Competition in over a YEAR this upcoming Wednesday, March 31!

Three groups from the Stock Pitch program will be presenting equities to add to the BRIC portfolio. These equities will be highlighted in a later post. Additionally, the Industry Analysis team will be presenting a modified allocation strategy for the portfolio, given the potential addition of new equities.

ALL STUDENTS are encouraged to attend this event. If you’re curious about what we do in BRIC or Stock Pitch, this would be a great meeting to attend (so bring a friend)! Voting will be conducted on our website during the event but is ONLY open to current BRIC members.

At the conclusion of the meeting, one presentation team will be named champion of the competition, and trades will be placed to represent club votes on proposed equities.

The competition aspect will be judged by BRIC Faculty Advisor Dr. Richard DeFusco, Senior Portfolio Manager Ryan Nyffeler, Senior Financial Analyst Kyle Krupski, and Portfolio Manager Thomas Fleischmann.

Please RSVP on our website if you plan to attend in-person, as space will be limited due to presenting group’s attendance. Otherwise, there is a Zoom option available, which can also be accessed through our website.
